Gonna jump right to it;

1. I found it disappointing that there's no highscore table for my best lap times. Which means I can't race and try to improve my time. Almost all racing games have this feature, it adds a lot of replay value.

2. In Single Player Race - Hard isn't difficult enough once you've gotten good at a track. I would like to see Very Hard difficulty, which could give the CPU ex; extra speed.

3. Being able to turn off the voices in options would be a very welcome feature as well. So you could still keep the FX but not the voices.

4. There could be more features in Single Race, such as:
Auto Turbo Off/On : Turn On and the game will auto-use turbo whenever available (so you don't have to press TAB)
Health Regen On/Off : Turn Off and you won't be able to recover health (until you die)
Ship Respawn On/Off : Turn Off and once you're dead you're no longer part of the race
Ultra Turbo Off/On : Turn On and turbo will be noticeable faster
Infinite Ammo Off/On : Turn On and weapons have infinite ammo
Infinite Mines Off/On : Turn On and you will have infinite mines
Strong Weapons Off/On : Turn On and weapons do noticeable more damage
Strong Mines Off/On : Turn On and mines will do noticeable more damage

5. Multiplayer, I didn't see this feature in the game, but I'm pretty sure you've mentioned it.

6. A track editor, would be a great addition with multiplayer.

That's a couple of things I can think of now. I enjoy the game. It was nice to see the tournaments still go on even after the story ended. But Single Player at Hard starts getting too easy once you get better at the tracks. I think you really need to add a higher difficulty. If you choose Infinite Turbo and just race (no weapons), you just go past the CPU and keep the number 1-slot all the time if you know the track well.

Thanks for this info. It is extremely valuable.
You can expect to get some if not most of the things you mentioned in the first patch. I cant promise the timing but there will certainly be patches as soon as we start to get more info. Multiplayer was mentioned only for the console titles as those are going to happen much much later (if ever). Depending on the sales of the game we are planning to implement multiplayer in one of the upcoming patches, together with new game modes like deathmatch.

Being a small developer we cant really do it all at once Smiley

Thanks again and cheers Smiley

BTW - track editor - no chance for Pyroblazer, yes for our upcoming titles (more sci fi racing and sci fi shooters Smiley. For Pyroblazer that would simply be too much work.

It's great to know that you plan to continue work on the game. What about an online highscore table? In Standard Race maybe you could choose "Mode: Online Time Challenge" and try to beat the worlds fastest times made by other players.

A multiplayer deathmatch would be great, but would require a lot of work. it feels like something very far away (half a year-a year away). I think what I'm looking most forward to in a future patch is being able to try and beat my own time, being able to go faster if ultra turbo is added and a higher difficulty in Single Race.

We will post a list of possible patch updates and enhancements approximately one month from the start of sales. Everyone here will be able to comment and we can together decide which are the best (and still feasible) options to include in the patch.

Cheers:)

I've a lot of ideas..gonna write some or else I might forget them.  Lips sealed
You mentioned that with each patch there will be bug fixes. I'm impressed that with an ATI 4870 I haven't experienced a single bug in Pyroblazer. Quite a great achievement to release a game in which no annoyingly noticable bug can be spotted  Cool, usually I can always notice a couple of bugs in new games.

here are some ideas:
Tournament...tournaments are the best in my opinion. Especielly the last race and you know you've to get 1st or 2nd place. I really like the Last One mode, it's thrilling.

Here's my idea regarding tournaments, I have only completed Medium. So there might be more secrets I haven't seen? in that case my idea might already be in the game:

Completing Easy (and all 19 tournaments)
-> rewards an easy Special Blazer

Completing Medium (and all 19 tournaments)
-> rewards a medum Special Blazer

Completing Hard (and all 19 tournaments)
-> rewards a hard Special Blazer

It would add a lot more replay value because it would feel rewarding playing through all three tournaments difficulties. If a Lap time highscore is added, it would make it less painful to play through the tournament because you could strive to get the best lap times.

I also think you should be able to create your own tournaments in Single Race (choose more than one track).

Now time trial:

I think that the time trial system could have been different. At the start you only have EASY, if you beat EASY you unlock MEDIUM and so on... When you are able to beat hard:

Completing hard time trial --> should give a reward

Considering the amount of tracks the reward could give a score (let's call it X). You can make all sort of interesting things here... 5X could unlock options in Standard Race, such as Ultra Turbo. 10X could unlock Infinite ammo option in Standard Race (as mentioned in my first post). X15 could reward you with a new blazer. X20 could give you a new Standard Race option such as 1hp mode. All sorts of fun stuff can be added this way. It also adds a whole lot of replay value to the game.

Ship rewards are in the game (have no idea how that works, probably nobody does after all this time Smiley... AS for other stuff, hopefully it will be there soon.

I've only just discovered this game, so excuse me for the thread resurrection ^^

Still, i'm wondering about something in the game that would fit in this thread. I did only play the demo so far though.

A very big problem for me is that whatever racer and whatever track i choose, the boundaries seem to be completely arbitrary with regards to the actual, visible boundaries. I can't really do anything without continuesly scraping the walls while racing. I think the boundaries should at least match the visible walls a lot better, since it is very frustrating to say the least. A solution to this is to bind the racing in easy mode to the floor of the track, and leave the full control for medium and hard settings? At least to ease the newbies (like me) into the concept Smiley

Pyroblazer is not a floor type of game. Trust me with some practice you will never scratch the walls again. But as you said, driving along the floor can be interesting so we will probably do something along that lines. Will it be an expansion for Pyroblazer or an entirely new game remains to be seen.

Hello, i wrote an email to the games web site and never got a responce. but Anyway.

I belive it would be really great even though people have said in this fourm that its easy on easy play hum, not too sure about that, i hate the fact the tracks dont so much get harder it just gets more annoying with twists and turns.

Also i would like to put that when you have a limited space to move for example out in the open and still closed off to a small room for menuvering i would like to see like a wall of a type maybe a see though warp hole type effect so you know the confinds of the room.

The flight path of some of the corners could be massivly improved as well since you seem to beable to hit more walls when trying to navigate a verry twisty track.

could there be say sometihng not to slow the ship if hitting a edge of the track when trying to stay on course ?

Unless your at right angel at the right time you dont see where the track is leading. could be made much more better.

Game reminds me of old MegaRace style Game play love the frist few easy levels.

ok, ill keep an eye on this page. Stem steams to be the only thing that leads to a forum unless i suppose your looking for it on google lol but the main game site doesnt get responce from support emails thanks.

Hi,

We try to answer to all support mails that come in. Sometimes unfortunately mail is marked as spam by our filter. We check spam every now and then and get back to all the people who wrote. Please resend your message to support@eipix.com

Ss for all of the stuff you wrote, yes we know the game can be improved upon, and we will do our best to make the changes in the future versions and/or our future games. Be on the look up, we are soon to announce two new titles, and possibly some expansions for Pyroblazer.
